Introduction

M80 Games Inc ("M80 Games," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we and our platform partners collect, how it is used, processed, shared, retained, and deleted when you visit our website or use our games and services.

Scope. This Privacy Policy applies to the M80 Games website (m80games.com) and to all M80 Games titles, including:

• GalactigunVR for Meta Quest, distributed through the Meta Horizon Store
• Galactigun for iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play)

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using our games and services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood it. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our games or services.

Summary of What We Collect

• We do not operate our own game servers or player accounts. GalactigunVR has no M80 Games backend. Player-identifying data is handled by the platform you play on (Meta, Apple, or Google) under that platform's own privacy policy.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Developer User Data or User Data for advertising, ad targeting, or ad measurement.
• We do not collect voice, camera, hand-tracking, eye-tracking, face-tracking, body-tracking, or room and spatial mapping data from your Meta Quest headset.

Developer User Data We Obtain from Meta Platform Technologies

This section applies specifically to GalactigunVR on Meta Quest and describes our collection, use, and processing of Developer User Data and User Data as those terms are used in the Meta Developer Data Use Policy.

When you launch GalactigunVR, the game uses the Meta Platform SDK. Through that SDK, Meta provides us with the following Developer User Data:

• Meta / Oculus User ID: A platform-assigned identifier for your account. We use it solely to identify your entry on the game's leaderboards and to record your achievement progress. We do not link it to any other identifier, profile, or database.
• Display name (username): Your Meta account display name, used solely to label your score on leaderboards so you and other players can recognize it. Displaying your name on a public leaderboard is an inherent part of that feature.
• Leaderboard scores and achievement progress: Your in-game scores, ranks, and unlocked achievements, written to and read from Meta's Leaderboards and Achievements services.

How this data is processed and where it is stored. Leaderboard entries and achievement records are submitted to and stored by Meta's platform services. M80 Games does not copy, export, warehouse, or retain this Developer User Data on any server we control. The game reads it back from Meta only in order to display leaderboards and achievement status inside the game.

How we use it. We use Developer User Data only to:

• Submit, retrieve, and display the game leaderboards
• Record and display achievement progress

How we do not use it. We do not use Developer User Data or User Data to:

• Sell, rent, license, or otherwise transfer it to data brokers, information resellers, or any third party for their own purposes
• Serve, target, or measure advertising, or build advertising profiles or audiences
• Determine eligibility for insurance, credit, housing, employment, or similar decisions
• Perform surveillance, identify individuals outside the game, or combine it with data from other sources to profile you
• Train machine learning or artificial intelligence models

Meta's own collection. Meta separately collects information from your use of Meta Quest hardware, your Meta account, and the Meta Horizon Store. That collection is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, not by this one.

Other Information We Collect

• Crash and error diagnostics: Our games include a third-party crash-reporting service. If the game crashes or hits a serious error, it sends a diagnostic report containing a technical description of the fault (stack trace), device model, operating system version, game build version, and available memory and storage. These reports are used only to diagnose and fix stability bugs. They are not used to identify you and are not linked to your Meta, Apple, or Google account.
• Local game data: Settings, progress, and preferences are stored on your device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Website data: When you visit m80games.com, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, and access times) for security and operational purposes.
• Information you send us: If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message, and we use it only to respond to you.

Mobile purchases. Any purchases made in Galactigun on iOS or Android are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never receive or store your payment card number, bank details, or billing address.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Platform providers: Meta, Apple, and Google, as necessary to operate platform features such as leaderboards, achievements, and purchases.
• Service providers: Our crash-reporting and website-hosting providers, which process data solely on our instructions and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
• Other players (leaderboards only): Your display name and score appear on in-game leaderboards visible to other players. This is the purpose of the feature.
• Legal requirements: Where we are required to do so by law, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of M80 Games, our players, or the public.
• Business transfers: If M80 Games is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor the commitments in this Privacy Policy, and we will notify you before any information becomes subject to a materially different policy.

Data Retention

• Leaderboard and achievement data: Retained by Meta's platform services for as long as your account participates in the game's leaderboards, or until you request deletion.
• Crash reports: Retained for up to 90 days, then deleted.
• Website server logs: Retained for up to 30 days.
• Support emails: Retained for up to 24 months after your issue is resolved.

Because we do not maintain our own player database, we do not retain Developer User Data after your game session ends beyond what is stored in Meta's platform services on your behalf.

Your Rights and How to Delete Your Data

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data associated with your use of our games at any time. To do so, email info@m80games.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us which game and platform you play on. We will respond within 30 days.

Meta Quest players: Because your GalactigunVR leaderboard and achievement data lives in Meta's platform services, you can remove it in either of two ways:

• Email us at info@m80games.com and we will submit a deletion request for your leaderboard entries and achievement records through Meta's platform tools.
• Uninstall the app and remove it from your Meta account, or use the app data controls in your Meta account settings at meta.com.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Players)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the game and the leaderboard and achievement features you asked for); legitimate interests (diagnosing crashes, securing our website, and preventing abuse); and consent where required, which you may withdraw at any time.

International Data Transfers

M80 Games Inc is based in the United States. Information processed in connection with our games may be transferred to and stored in the United States and other countries where our platform partners and service providers operate. Where required, such transfers are made under appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS) for all data our games and website transmit, and access controls limiting who at M80 Games can view diagnostic data. No security measure is perfect, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

GalactigunVR is not directed to children. Meta sets and enforces the minimum age requirements for Meta Quest headsets and Meta accounts, and we rely on Meta's age gating for distribution through the Meta Horizon Store. Our mobile titles are not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). If we learn that we have received such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with information may contact us at info@m80games.com.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date below, and this page will always show the current version. If we make a material change to how we collect, use, or share your information, we will provide prominent notice — in the game, on this website, or both — before the change takes effect. Please review this page periodically.
